The Epson Pro EX11000 projector has been launched in the US. The 1080p model has up to 4,600 lumens brightness and the brand’s 3LCD technology for a vivid image up to 300-in (~762 cm) wide. The gadget allows wireless screencasting via Miracast and has dual HDMI ports and a built-in 16W speaker.
Epson has announced the Pro EX11000 3LCD Full HD 1080p Wireless Laser Projector. Designed for the workplace, the gadget has a maximum brightness of 4,600 lumens thanks to its laser light source, which is expected to last up to 20,000 hours. 3LCD technology provides bright colors, and you can throw images up to 300-in (~762 cm) with a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000:1.
The Pro EX11000 projector has a native 16:9 aspect ratio, adjustable to 16:10 or 4:3, and a 1.32-2.12 throw ratio. Other features include 1-1.6X optical zoom, auto vertical correction for a speedy set-up, and an integrated 16W speaker. Epson has added collaboration tools, such as allowing multiple content sources to be projected on the screen simultaneously. Ports include two HDMI and USB-A, allowing you to connect a TV streaming stick to access services like Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku and Google Chromecast.
Alternatively, you can cast content from a mobile device via Miracast and control the gadget via an accompanying remote. The compact gadget measures 12.8 x 11.7 x 4.1-in (~325 x 297 x 104 mm) and can stand on a desktop or be mounted from the ceiling. You can now buy the Pro EX11000 Full UHD 1080p Wireless Laser Projector in the US for US$1,299. It is unclear whether or when it could arrive in other markets.
